Brief
To build a new website that is both visually and functionally contemporary, user friendly and easy to navigate. It needed to elevate the aesthetic appeal of the site to match competitors, be visually clean and give space to highlight contemporary art and craft. The feel of the website needed to be expressive and engaging to encourage artists, curators, and makers of innovative work to consider GalleryM as a serious player in the art scene. Additionally, the gallery required a member portal to support their existing community and welcome new members—strengthening the connection between artists, patrons, and the gallery itself. Most importantly, it needed to balance aesthetic excellence with practical functionality for a small team managing constant exhibition changes.
Approach
We designed a website that functions as a thoughtful digital gallery space—where artwork has room to breathe and visitors can navigate intuitively. Using clean lines and minimal interface elements, we created a backdrop that allows the art to take centre stage while building robust backend systems that simplify content management. We developed a secure, user-friendly member portal that nurtures the gallery's community connections. The design respects the gallery's inclusive community focus while elevating their visual presence to attract serious artists and curators of innovative work.
